1947 Company founded by Harold Hadley, Defiance, Ohio. Moved to Toledo shortly after because of a building fire. His partners were Mr. Goerlich and Mr. F. Coburn. Primary product was freon powered dual trumpet horns for the marine industry | 1972 Hadley sold to Midland Ross | 1974 Midland Ross moved the operation to Grandville, Michigan from Toledo, Ohio | 1985 Jim & John Humphrey purchased Hadley from Midland Ross | 1997 Hadley achieved a third party quality certification from Entela as a QS-9000/ISO-9001 Certified Company | 2000 Acquisition of Kam Truck Components, a manufacturer of premium Truck, Bus, and RV mirror systems. Hadley achieved the Mack Truck Certification and the "Paccar Preferred Supplier" Award
Hadley earned the QS-9000 Third Edition Certification. | 2001 Hadley awarded the Freightliner LLC, Masters of Quality Award | 2002 Launch of the Hadley Smart Air Management System (SAMS); an electronically controlled Air Suspension System
